本模块是新学期的起始模块,因此无论是教学内容还是语法功能上都起到了承上启下的作用。根据新教材“题材-功能-结构-任务”的编写原则分析本模块的具体内容,其题材是围绕世界奇观展开,功能是要求学生学会描述地点和经历,而语法结构则是复习已经学过的六种基本时态,任务是做一个关于世界奇迹的海报。这里根据自己对教材的理解,结合新课标的具体要求,确定模块的整体教学目标。知识目标: 1) 掌握26个单词(wonder, band, review, ancient, composition, grade, pyramid, pupil, meeting, call, event, natural, light, reply, clear, rise, ground, below, edge, bottom, side, disappear, distance, huge, face, height)和4个词组(listen up, get out of, on the edge of, at the bottom of);理解下列单词(canyon, sight, lift, view, attract, description, location)2) 理解和掌握long, far, deep, wide, high, tall等形容词表示计量的用法。 3) 在具体语境中,复习体会和灵活运用已学过的一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时、现在进行时、过去进行时以及现在完成时。技能目标: 1)听:能通过听力,获取与school magazine 相关的信息。2)说:能够围绕school magazine 的话题进行交流,进行情景对话。 3)读:能通过阅读判断作者的写作意图。4)写:能根据提示运用所学词汇等描述一个世界奇观情感态度价值观目标:通过对世界奇观的了解,学会欣赏世界奇观,从而激发起热爱大自然,热爱人类文化遗产的情感。
unit 1 what is a wonder of the world?
unit1是对话课,其作用不仅在于引出模块的话题,更为第二、三单元的学习提供语言环境,由于新教材每一模块的对话都是围绕school magazine 展开,所以学好第一单元又为接下来的对话学习扫清了语言和文化上的障碍。同时在语法上,本单元复现了已经学过的5种基本时态,为体验和进一步复习六种时态提供了真实的语境,而且也为第二模块开始学习的被动语态的基本时态扫清语法上的障碍。一、教学目标知识目标:1)掌握11个单词(wonder, band, review, ancient, composition, grade, pyramid, pupil, meeting, call, event)和2个词组(listen up, do an interview with)2)理解和体会一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时、现在进行时、现在完成时的语意功能。 技能目标: 1)听:通过听力,获取与话题school magazine 有关的信息。 2)说:能够围绕school magazine 的话题进行交流, 进行情景对话。3)读:正确朗读对话,在朗读中体会句子的语意、学会正确的断句等。情感态度与价值观目标:培养学生对神奇大自然的热爱,对伟大的人类文明的热爱。提高对英语的学习兴趣,提高学习英语的效率,实现语言结构与运用能力的全面转型,提高对英语的学习兴趣。参加各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。
二.教学重点,难点重点:通过训练学生的听、说、读、写能力,复习掌握所学过的现在进行时,过去进时,一般现在时,一般过去式,一般将来时,现在完成时。共4页,当前第1页1234

难点: 掌握所学的各种时态形式和找出适合自己的学习方法。三.教学方法:基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“p—t—p”自主学习立体模式:pre-task…task-cycle…post-task。
四、教材的使用为了提高本课的教学效率和教材的利用效率,有效地实现教学目标,根据学生的实际情况,在教材的使用中作了如下的变动:1、删减处理。第六部分的目的是训练学生的正确的语音以及正确的断句。而这一目的可以通过学生的听力训练和朗读训练实现,因而可以将这部分融入听力和朗读中,不单独处理。2、替换处理。activity 5 answer the questions 主要是围绕重点词汇进行问答,其目的是检验词汇的学习和掌握效果。而个别问题设计脱离学生实际,不便学生回答,或者无法激起学生的回答欲望。 因此决定将本部分替换为词汇检测。3、调整处理。本课对话的核心话题是为校刊栏目提建议,对话中每个学生都有不同的建议,为了帮助学生通过听力更直接准确的获取尽可能多的信息,通过设计表格的形式代替activity 4中的听力问题,帮助学生更好的理解对话。五、教学程序与方法1、新课导入。由于是新学期的第一课,因而进行必要的情感交流是必须的,一方面可以沟通师生情感,另一方面可以为语言学习营造轻松愉快的氛围。交流的话题可以假期的见闻,游历等等,比如have you got a nice holiday? what impressed you a lot in the holiday? 这一环节时间不宜过长。教师应适时将话题转入新课。there’s also something nice in the school. what is it? 向学生展示并在图片中找到答案school dance。2、词汇处理。借助图片处理重点词汇,目的是为下面的听力活动解决语言上可能出现的困难。具体做法如下:第一、让学生对图片进行描述,(以activity 1中的词汇为帮助)并在此基础上鼓励学生进行发散,say as many sentences or words as they can,第二、就其中的重点词汇进行解释、补充(如wonder has another meaning. that’s “ want to know”)而对于学生有可能没有提到的单词,教师可利用guessing game 的方法让学生猜出(如ancient, 教师的提示是it’s opposite to modern; 再如pyramid, 教师的提示是it’s an ancient building. it is in egypt. )。第三、听磁带,选出所听到的单词,通过齐读的方式对照答案,学习生词的正确发音。第四、再次仔细阅读观察图片,归纳其中所提供的信息,what other information can you get from the poster?(借助activity 2所提供的答案引导学生从图片中捕捉。)3、对话处理。对话是本单元的教学重点,本环节旨在通过听读训练实现对话理解,信息归纳,以及学习运用日常英语进行表达的目的。具体做法如下:第一、听的训练,第一遍听的目的在于让学生捕捉对话的中心话题和内容,所以听力题为:what are they mainly talking about? 即activity 4 中的第一题。第二遍听的目的是为进一步获取有关school magazine的信息,采用完成表格的形式实现信息归纳的目的(后附表格)。第二、听读训练。采取跟读的形式朗读对话,模仿正确的语音语调及断句。同时也将activity 6 的语音练习融合进来)在读后根据学生的实际归纳理解下列重点的词句。what’s happening?/that’s news to me!/what’s it about?/listen up, everyone./any more ideas?/brilliant! anyone else?/ why don’t we do …?/how about…?/that’s a fantastic idea.第三、角色朗读训练。四人小组分角色朗读对话,在语境中体验角色情感并在读的过程中感知,理解不同时态的语意功能,为下一步自编对话做好语言准备。 共4页,当前第2页1234
