第一课时的教学内容是本单元的b&c,学生能掌握b部分9个节日的名称,能根据c部分文字提示和图片提示来谈论相关节日。
[教材简析]
本单元围绕“谈论节日里所做的事”这一话题展开教学活动。parta对话情景是老师和同学们在谈论节日里人们所做的事,课前布置学生搜集有关中西方风俗的资料,以保证学生“有话想讲,有话可讲”。课上尽可能为学生创造发言的机会,在运用中学习新的语言表达。
[目标预设]
1、能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语:christmas is coming. my favourite holiday is halloween. what’s your favourite holiday?
2、能听懂、会说、会读写单词和词组:favourite,christmas,had,relative, went,didn’t=did not,dress up
3、能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型:when’s …? it’s in/on … what do people usually do at/on … ? they …. did you … last … ? yes, i did. / no, i didn’t.
4、能正确地理解对话内容,能正确流利地朗读对话,并能初步表演对话。
5、能运用本课所学的语言谈论节日,了解一些中西方文化。

[设计理念]
1、展开以教师为主导、以学生为主体的师生双边活动,在频繁的双向和多面的交流中,提高学生的语言表达能力。
2、处理好教师、学生、教材之间的关系,追求和谐的课堂活动。引导学生在理解的基础上,运用课文中的材料进行初步的交际练习。
3、注重过程评价,促进学生发展。
[设计思路]
通过free talk和听句子猜节日的复习环节为课文的学习做适当的“热身活动”,教师介绍自己特别喜爱的节日和询问学生特别喜爱的节日来引出和操练新单词favourite。课文第一段的学习过程是:听录音、回答问题、跟录音读、自读自背。接着是对话,对话篇幅较长,先让学生听录音,明白对话里谈论了哪几个节日,这样就抓住了要领。然后教师引导学生在填表及反馈的过程中学习、理解对话内容,并适时呈现、学习新单词和新词组。为了照顾到全体学生,第一个节日的谈论内容可由教师示范填写,后面的内容放手让学生自己解决。在理解对话内容的基础上让学生听录音、跟读、表演。最后通过完成课后的连线题巩固对课文内容的理解,并通过自编对话这一环节,使学生把课文语言内化为自己的语言,提高学生的语言交际能力。
